Sydney, it's never been easier to support your local Italian food community. Here's how.
Pre-ordering homemade lasagna and scheduling your next antipasti delivery are some of the ways you can support Sydney’s Italian food community right now.
As the world changes around us in the wake of the rising COVID-19 global pandemic, our beloved Italian restaurants, bars and grocers face an uncertain future.
Not unlike the spirit of Italian’s taking to their balconies to sing with their neighbours in quarantine, local businesses are searching for a silver lining. Despite forced shutdowns as part of Sydney’s current level 2 quarantine restrictions, they’re inventing creative and delicious ways to keep their businesses alive.
As well as supporting local biz through delivery apps like Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Hey You, this post features businesses you can support that are operating direct delivery & pickup, some bringing pasta into your home for the first time.
Get inspired, get hungry, and support your local Italian food heroes.
